New arrivals setting hearts aflutter at the Equestrian Centre
Mikey and Murphy have arrived - and are winning hearts throughout the Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre!
Thanks to Eastside Horse Riding Academy, these two new ponies have been brought to the Equestrian Centre and are being prepared for their new life giving rides and enjoyment to children of Sydney.
Mikey, originally from Dubbo, is a chestnut Arabian gelding who will be taking on the advanced riders in the Academy. He has a high set tail and big expressive movement that ensures he catches everyone’s eye as he moves around the arena.
Murphy, from Forbes, is a pinto gelding (bay and white) who really stands out in a crowd – he wasted no time in revealing his personality and voicing his love for food! Murphy will be teaching smaller children how to ride and care for horses around the Equestrian Centre and the Parklands.
Both ponies have outgoing and friendly personalities and are adjusting to city life very well.
Eastside Horse Riding Academy is also saying goodbye to one of their foundation horses Cassie. She is retiring in style in Byron Bay with a loving family who will enjoy feeding and riding her.
