Equestrian Centre road maintenance notification

The Trust will be undertaking a small road maintenance project at the Equestrian Centre. No major impacts are expected.

Horse riders, riding schools and visitors to the Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre should be aware of upcoming road maintenance works within the Equestrian Centre.

Works will be undertaken in two stages, the first of which will commence at 9.00 am, Monday 9 November 2009 and will involve the cutting and preparation of failed sections of asphalt that require patching works. These works will be completed on the day.

The second stage will commence at 9.00 am, Monday 16 November and will involve the installation of asphalt and the completion of the patching works. These works will be completed on the day.

NB: Monday 23 November may be required to complete the road maintenance works in the event that any delays arise.

All works will have the relevant Occupational Health and Safety procedures in place and the Contractor will endeavour to minimise noise and disturbance whilst undertaking the works.

All horse riders and handlers are requested to exercise caution when passing with horses as some equipment being used for the works will emit noise and may disturb the horses.

If you have any concerns regarding these works, please speak to the Equestrian Centre Manager.
