CPEC Gates
Thursday 28 January
Could all CPEC patrons please make sure they close the gates to all three arenas within the Centre, both when leaving and entering. This is not only a courteous gesture but important for the safety and welfare of riders and horses. If the gates are closed and a horse within the arena takes fright, the incident remains contained and limited to the area, rather than risking the horse bolting through the gates and into the open centre.
If everyone takes the extra time to make sure they are closing the gates then we can minimise the risks.
Also a timely reminder that before entering an arena please wait for a rider to pass and acknowledge other riders in close proximity before entering.
