A different kind of horse
20 January 2010
CPEC client, John Banks and his grand-daughter, Emily Hausman, recently enjoyed some riding a different kind on NSW's mid North coast. Emily, who has lessons with Moore Park Stables' Rosemary Gogh and John, whose horse, Bailey, was out for a spell, both rode camels and horses on Worimi Conservation Lands at Stockton Bite (between Newcastle and Port Stephens). The camels (Domedaries) were provided by Oakfield Range and the horses by Rambling Sand Horse Treks.
Upon his return to CPEC, John commented that cantering a big Clydesdale in the rain forest and on sand dunes is definitely a different experience than riding Bailey in Centennial Park!
